AMK9 Expands its Explosive Detection Dog Team Services to Southern Iraq

American K-9 Detection Services, LLC (“AMK9,” the leading provider of K-9 Detection Services) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract on behalf of the United States (U.S.) Government. This contract is for Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) Team services in Iraq to reinforce and supplement existing security measures for a critical diplomatic and trade site which supports U.S., Iraqi, and friendly initiatives in the Southern Iraq region.
AMK9 Contract Working Dog (CWD) Teams are specially trained and certified according to stringent Contract Working Dog standards. Each CWD Team undergoes rigorous training to ensure the ability to provide the safety and security necessary for the numerous visiting political figures, employees, clients, and military personnel. Through explosive detection efforts conducted in entry control points, vehicle sweeps, routine perimeter and internal searches, AMK9 CWD Teams not only provide deterrence of hostile attacks but also security awareness and proven protection of personnel and property. AMK9 is currently performing more than 30,000 searches each day, worldwide.
